Life can be so beautiful, but it can also be incredibly difficult. Though I can't change this reality, there are a few things I can commit to doing. I will prioritize building a partnership with you based in trust, respect, compassion, and kindness. I will work to understand and empathize with your unique situation. I will believe in your ability to grow, change, and heal, and in your right to pursue a life that feels like more than just survival. I will provide you with support and empowerment, and I will always consider it a privilege to accompany you on your journey of navigating life’s many challenges.

I am passionate about working with traumatic issues and with survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse in particular. I enjoy helping people navigate difficult feelings, as well as better understand and regulate their emotional responses. Some of my main clinical interests include depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and self-harming behaviors.

In helping clients process and move forward from trauma (whether physical, sexual, or emotional), I like to focus on establishing trust in a supportive and non-judgmental atmosphere. This empowers clients to safely share feelings or memories that have been burdensome.
