Hello! My name is Debbie Weikert. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am passionate about empowering individuals to overcome life's challenges, big and small with compassion and supportive guidance.
I have experience working with adolescents and families, with a background in Functional Family Therapy, and currently working as a mental health professional in the school setting with high school students. Many of my clients come to me with issues related to grief, anxiety, depression, and stress management.
My empathy and compassion for others led me to my career as a professional counselor. I enjoy hearing people's stories and helping them to feel seen and heard. The relationship with the client continues to be the driving force that allows me to continue this work as I am amazed by their resiliency and growth.
