Welcome! I have a warm, engaging, empathic approach to therapy. I believe the journey is collaborative, and, as we navigate the territory that includes your deepest truths, roadblocks, and happiest moments, we can uncover how you have done the best you could to get to the present.. Together, we will look at how you built your belief system, based on life experiences, childhood, and adult events. My therapy style is warm, engaging, and collaborative. The focus is empathic dialogue and what I call "mapping the territory". I use a combination of approaches, CBT, self psychology, and family systems mapping.
Do you struggle with self-criticism, anxiety, and a sense of not being "good enough"? Do you feel as if you are overwhelmed? Unpacking the events and beliefs that have led you to this point, and taking back your life from energies that aren't really yours, will be the focus of our work together.
I am warm, engaged, and empathic. I use a collaborative approach and will welcome and expect you to give me feedback about how attuned I have been to what you're exploring. I also use humor at times. We will work together to build our safe space.
