I work with individuals who are experiencing a multitude of issues that make life uncomfortable. In addition to depression, anxiety, trauma and substance dependence, I work with individuals dealing with issues of identity (cultural, social and developmental) as well as those with behavioral and emotional problems.
I have always believed in meeting people where they are at, and using a variety of evidence based tools to accommodate their needs.
I utilize a relational approach to working with clients, which encompasses a variety of therapeutic practices to enhance client strengths and build upon areas requiring further skills. I also provide therapy through EAP services. I utilize evidence based practices in the areas of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness training and trauma informed care.
