I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 20 years of experience helping children, adolescents, adults, and families cope with ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse. I attended Assumption College, where I earned a CAGS and my Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. I also attended Worcester State University, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in Psychology and a Concentration in Developmental Disabilities.
I use evidence-based modalities, including individualized motivational interviewing, mindfulness exercises, and cognitive-behavioral techniques. I refer to myself as a GPS during the therapeutic journey; I explain that you can't always see your destination when starting therapy, but I will help get you and your family to where you want to be.
With natural compassion and a sense of humor, I assist in developing collaborative relationships with patients and families. My goal is to help those I work with reach their full potential and realize their goals through a combination of teamwork and advocacy.
