Debra's therapeutic focus is experiential, direct and supportive. Debra integrates the PACT approach with couples. Clients are successful in resolving their family of origin issues, trauma, sex or porn addiction, anxiety and depression. Debra specializes in financial therapy; a regular request in therapy. My clients have voiced feeling happier and are in healthier relationships, both within themselves and with others. Together, we can resolve maladaptive behaviors that once protected painful experiences due to rejection, abandonment, and/or invalidation.
Debra strives to help each individual achieve enduring, positive change away from old self-defeating behaviors. Patterns related to unresolved trauma, sex addiction, internet and porn addiction and money issues are extinguished while new healthier behaviors, self-empowerment and happiness, take hold.
Debra is faculty for Dr. Patrick Carnes IITAP. She is a CSAT therapist and Supervisor. Debra authored, "For Love and Money: Exploring Sexual and Financial Betrayal," "Battle of the Titans: Mastering the Forces of Sex, Money and Power in Relationship." and co-authored "Coupleship Inc: From Financial Conflict to Financial Intimacy."

Debra writes and lectures nationally on her areas of expertise: Attachment, Emotional Incest and the Sexual Addiction/Avoidance. Debra lectures with and serves as faculty member with (IITAP) founded by Patrick Carnes, Ph.D. The group consists of education and support regarding recovery for sexual compulsivity and addiction.
