Do you consider yourself resilient? My goal when working with clients is to assist them in finding their inner resilience which will help them to reach their ultimate goals in therapy. I have worked with clients and supervisees to empower them to use their strengths and competencies to improve and enhance their life situations.
Besides private practice, I have worked for agencies working with families, providing groups on systematic training for effective parenting, developing and implementing caregiver support groups, and running parent support groups.
I am a LPC and TLHT LMHC with a PhD in counseling and a specialization in Marriage and Family counseling. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and an Approved Clinical Supervisor which allows me to train new clinicians in the field. I've been working with a variety of populations, symptoms and clients' needs. I provide telehealth services in FL and GA.
My philosophy is to work collaboratively with my clients. I use a strengths-based, competency-based focus which is informed by a wellness perspective.
