Finding the right therapist, where you feel a sense of connection, is the first step in a successful treatment. Whether you are unsettled, experiencing a life transition, or briefly needing a professional to speak with, together, we will look at what is difficult and what you would like to change. This is a unique opportunity to see what has stood in the way of your personal satisfaction. Our work is confidential and I am non-judgmental. Most people who start psychotherapy find it very useful and gain valuable insights which help them fulfill their potential and enrich their lives.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and psychoanalyst. I treat children, adolescents, adults, and couples. I focus on the individuality of each patient by taking a careful history and exploring what the patient seeks from psychotherapy. Together, we will decide on an effective and affordable treatment plan.
I am a graduate of the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis (NPAP). This is a rigorous psychoanalytic training program and requires intensive supervision, academic coursework, and extensive clinical experience before a certificate is granted. This program, along with my personal analysis, has prepared me for all aspects of psychotherapeutic work.
