I currently only see clients virtually who are located in TN . I work with those who are experiencing grief/loss, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders. I am open to see both individual and couples. I also am able to provide grief half-day intensives, grief presentations for anyone in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I am an approved supervisor for those seeking licensure. I enjoy working to help those in this process! I also provide supervision for TN pre-licensed therapists through Motivo Health.
I have 21 years' experience as a counselor/therapist/clinical director in hospital/outpatient settings as well as my own private practice. I am level 2 trained in the Gottman method (couples) and level 2 trained in EMDR by the EMDR Institute. I have a Death and Grief Studies Certification from Dr. Alan Wolfelt at the Center For Loss in CO.
Sometimes taking the first step to seek counseling can be scary. I want to provide a safe non-judgmental environment for you. We all need to be able to process issues in a safe place, with our emotions validated.
