In my 30 years of practice as a psychotherapist, I continue to focus on building a trusting and collaborative relationship with my patients/clients. I approach each session with the goals of maintaining that relationship, addressing short-term issues/struggles, and looking at the underlying connections to daily events and interactions. I specialize in working with individuals challenged by feelings of depression, anxiety, traumatic events (past and present) and feelings of diminished self worth. I have experience and a special interest working with parenting issues, infertility and interpersonal challenges.
I work with positive aspects of a person, even during times when they find it difficult to see this themselves. Everyone has strengths within them and these are utilized to keep the best within a person while encouraging personal growth and well being.

Connection after Loss, virtual
This 8-week group is designed to provide connection and understanding of grief inside of oneself and in relation to daily life challenges. Grieving does not occur spontaneously with the passage of time. Losses are part of the human condition. Our ability to experience the associated feelings and the changes in life which follow loss are as varied as our individual selves. This group is designed to encourage connection with others are experiencing the physical loss of loved ones, end of relationships, life transitions and losses associated with physical changes.
