I offer a welcoming space to explore how disorienting transitions, loss, intense challenges and illnesses can hold within them the possibility for profound personal transformation, renewed vitality, and deeper connections. It was my own journey with chronic illness that began in my twenties that evolved into a calling to support others in their healing. Since 2008, I have worked as a licensed naturopathic physician, health coach, author, educator, and now mental health counselor. My personal and professional experiences have engendered an embodied compassion and humility for the ways in which life can bring us to our knees.
My approach is integrative and systemic, drawing upon the modalities and orientations that will best support you in discovering your own authentic path to greater alignment and resilient well-being. I bring a collaborative spirit to our work together, emphasizing mindful presence, somatic awareness, existential inquiry, nature, and strength-based processes.
As a counselor, I see myself as a fellow-traveler. I know personally how vital it is to find the “right fit” with a therapist, to feel a sense of resonance and trust that allows us to vulnerably navigate our unique healing journey. If you feel curious as to whether I might be that person for you, please schedule a complimentary discovery session with me.
