Healing from our suffering—not just coping with it, but transforming it into growth—often requires a journey through it. Most people when they approach engagement with therapy first want a caring and listening ear. They want to tell their story because that's where connection begins. Many of us have never really had the experience of someone taking the time to openly listen, not proposing solutions or opinions or judgments. This is the gift I enjoy offering to my clients.

A significant portion of the work I do is correlating current life controlling issues with their roots, typically unresolved family of origin wounds. Once the root is uncovered it becomes easier to target the problem with an appropriate treatment approach. Roots create Fruits. My counseling style is highly interactive, allowing client needs and goals to guide the therapy process .
