Debby Simmons, PhD. Hello, I am the clinical director of Primrose Healing and Wellness. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a doctorate in Health Psychology. I am an educator as well as a therapist, which is a strength I bring into my work with my clients. I have learned that over the years there is no one specific way to treat people. It is important to reach people where they are. I take a multi-dimensional and holistic approach to therapy that is based on sound clinical interventions.
I really enjoy working with clients who are motivated to take care of themselves. It is okay to not have the answers and know where to begin but an openness to the process is important. I have worked with all populations but mostly enjoy adult individuals and couples.
The most important thing for clients to know is that I am here for them. I do not have any specific agenda except to help you reach your goals. I believe you are in charge of your own life and sometimes we lose site of that. Goal setting is about empowering you to identify what you want and create your own roadmap of how you want to get there.
