My style is to create a collaborative, respectful, and compassionate relationship in which we explore both your challenges and your strengths. I emphasize a whole-person integrative treatment plan utilizing evidence-based interventions and complimentary approaches as appropriate.
I engage in a variety of methods including cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques, strength-based psychotherapy and mind-body applications. I believe the most essential element to a positive treatment outcome is the quality of the therapeutic relationship.
I work with children, adults, couples, experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic illness, grief and loss, divorce transitions, LGBTQI affirming, and stressful life transitions. I engage in biofeedback and mindfulness techniques to aid in managing stress and anxiety.
