About

Whether you’ve been struggling with painful issues for a while or have recently been clobbered by difficult challenges, you’ve already taken a healthy step forward... you’re here! Actively looking for someone you can trust to guide and support your efforts toward change. For almost 30 years I’ve provided therapy in settings ranging from hospitals to Army bases and have accumulated a wealth of experience and success stories. Let's work together to move you toward the positive changes you want in life!
In terms of style, I regard myself more as a coach, teacher, and fellow traveler than a detached "professional expert." I draw from many therapeutic strategies and models to craft a treatment plan focused on your specific goals and preferences. It is always carefully Individualized and respectfully tended to help meet your unique needs.
I’m eager to extend the very best of what I’ve learned as a psychologist to you. We know that successful therapy results when clients and providers work collaboratively, with intention and resolve, toward goals they set for positive change. I love the way Abraham Lincoln put it: “The best way to predict the future is to create it.” Let’s do that together!
