Deborah Netz, LPC- I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 25 years of experience working with children and adolescents. I work with children struggling in areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma and ADD/ADHD. I have significant experience in working with children struggling with behavioral issues as well as those who are on the autism spectrum. I also work with children suffering from grief related to losing a loved one.
I have worked in close proximity with educators in the school system, and can help you assist your child in navigating their mental health within that system. My Client-Centered approach utilizes art therapy and sand-tray techniques, which quickly helps your child get engaged in the therapeutic process.
Therapy is different with children; it requires patience and a gentle approach. I hope to alleviate any parental anxiety by explaining my approach throughout your child’s treatment. I am open to parent follow up sessions to keep you informed of your child’s progress. I hope to help your child learn to express feelings and work towards a happy future.
