About
I am a seasoned clinician with a genuine interest in the well being of my patients. I have over 18 years of experience working with adults, children, adolescents, families and couples. Using cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral treatment and a family systems approach, I provide a safe supportive environment where people learn to feel empowered and acquire the tools to help themselves. I am skilled in treating depression and anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders and marriage and family issues.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I had a successful career in the theater and also use those skills in my psychotherapy practice.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is crucial to the success of therapy. Therefore, patients need to feel at ease, understood and not judged. I work to provide that atmosphere so patients can best reach their goals.
