People have the ability to change. I can help facilitate this process by offering you a therapeutic relationship that is honest, interactive and warm. I use a range of interventions including psychodynamic, interpersonal and cognitive-behavioral to meet the unique needs of each individual. Overall, I believe it is valuable to understand the "why" of behavior, and also to make specific changes that lead to growth and greater fulfillment.
In addition to helping people in areas such as depression, relationships, and anxiety, I have specialized graduate and post-graduate training in treating eating disorders. I strive to help people understand the causes of their struggles as well as find solutions.
My goal as your therapist is to create a trusting and open relationship that allows for exploring problems and creating change. I am interactive, thoughtful, and solution focused. With your active participation, I believe therapy can help you make progress in all areas of your life.
