About
In order to build a mutually cooperative relationship, I develop a safe environment that is supportive, trustworthy, and accepting. I will help you envision a future where today's problems seem manageable, using your personal strengths and experiences to bring about reasonable and realistic outcomes. I believe that individuals have the potential to create solutions suited for them. I will assist you in seeing what may not be working for you, what practices to do more of, as well as celebrate your successes. I will also encourage you to experiment with new approaches to problems and entertain new possibilities for your life.
I have a M.Ed. in Professional Counseling from Texas Christian University and a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. My approach is adapted to the needs of each individual. Additionally, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing- effective for clients experiencing PTSD or severe anxiety/panic.
Therapy is a means where an individual may discover solutions to overcome life's challenges. Your search on Psychology Today indicates that you may be ready to create beneficial changes in your life. Allow me to come alongside you on your journey.
