About
With over 32 years experience, I help clients overcome the pain of past and current relationships and experience the pleasure in life they deserve. My approach is solution and goal oriented while utilizing knowledge of life history as appropriate to deepen the understanding of emotional problems and to empower change. My personality is warm yet active and engaged in the therapeutic process. I work most effectively with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship problems, grief/loss, trauma, parenting issues and divorce recovery. I primarily utilize Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches in my work.
My expertise in working with couples includes teaching communication and conflict resolution skills, divorce recovery, and methods to heal from extramarital affairs, rebuilding trust, intimacy and marital enrichment. With families, I facilitate adjustment to divorce, parenting, and building conflict resolution skills.
