I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a special interest in working with girls and women (ages 12-75). My focus is on helping women and girls find their voice and to learn how to use it to express, assert, and stand up for themselves. Additionally, I enjoy helping Mothers and Daughters and Fathers and Daughters navigate their often intricate and thorny relationships.
I focus first on developing a therapeutic relationship based on trust and mutual respect: without this there is no growth. I am direct, empathetic, and non-judgmental. I do not take things personally, and I am not easily shocked or offended. I also love humor.
Psychotherapy can be hard but ultimately rewarding if you give it a chance and want things to change. I encourage people to email and/or phone me with any questions.
