My ideal client may have recently experienced a crisis or increase in stressors or has a long history of experiencing interpersonal struggles and unhappiness and is looking for a therapist that provides an empathic approach and offers a safe nonjudgemental environment to explore thoughts and feelings. My client is interested in learning effective coping skills, how to challenge distorted thinking, and ways to improve self-esteem.
I have worked as a Therapist for over 9 years and I have experience working with families and couples as well as individuals ranging in age from 5 to 85 years of age. I work with all mental health diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, etc and focus on recovery principles.
I have over 25 years experience as a Registered Nurse thus I am knowledgeable in ways to manage medical illnesses and conditions as well as ways to improve over all health.
