My clients seek therapy for a variety of reasons such as trauma, anxiety, depression, or hyperactivity. Building trust between client and counselor is the most important first step. Every client is unique, so together we explore effective ways to work through each issue and set realistic goals.
My counseling experience has been with children, adolescents, and adults. I have worked in facilities with victims of sexual trauma, domestic violence, and Alzheimer's, as well as educational settings as a school counselor.
I counsel from an existential theoretical perspective and holistic approach to assist my clients in finding wholeness and their purpose moving forward. My hope is that through the counseling relationship my clients can ultimately trust themselves to make their own decisions and be successful.
