About
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing compassionate and effective therapy to children and families as well as young adults. I work closely with parents to explore why specific techniques do not work for their children and to implement new effective parenting techniques at home. In addition, I believe in empowering parents to navigate the school system and advocate for their children.
In therapy sessions I utilize a wide variety of evidenced based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, behavioral enhancements, and solution focused techniques. Areas of expertise include working with individuals struggling with ADHD, other focusing issues, anxiety disorders, depression, and life transitions.
Treating each patient as an individual and starting where you are at by providing empathy and support is what I practice. Psychotherapy is a process that requires dedication, work, and commitment from both therapist and client. You can reach out to me through email or phone to schedule a free phone consultation.
