I am Deborah Hill, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 30 years of experience working with clients. I have worked with many people struggling to make their lives better in some way. The specific challenge clients bring to our session together varies: relationships, parenting, loss/grief, addictions, sexual abuse/assault, or the stress military personnel and their families experience, to name a few. The reasons clients make an appointment are varied, but all clients want something better, less pain, less struggle, and more hope.
I see myself as a consultant, a new team member that clients bring on board to help. I want to listen carefully and understand what the client wants to be better in their lives. All clients want a safe place to be heard and seen. My job is to help you navigate change and its challenges. At the end of our time together, I want you to feel your success.
My communication style is collaborative. I am an approachable person who will care about you and your struggles. I will be committed to helping you navigate your challenges in a way that is satisfying for you. I will help you develop a plan, an initial step.
