In a world where many feel their life is out of control or in chaos, I offer a safe place to attain a new sense of serenity through common sense counseling. I specialize in helping adults and adolescents untangle and overcome life's disappointments and difficult experiences by offering new perspectives, and new coping strategies through a Christian worldview. My goal is to help the hurting identify the origin of their pain, suffering and damaging behaviors and to find a new, life-long sense of emotional sobriety and overall good health.
Areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, co-dependency, divorce, addictions (all types), grief, obsessive compulsive behaviors, family of origin/dysfunction issues, and suicide prevention, intervention and recovery. I also specialize in working with adult children of addicts or alcoholics and guide them in experiencing freedom from their loved ones disease.
Therapy is first and foremost based on developing a strong trust alliance with each individual client. Therapy techniques lean heavily on focus-choice therapy, and psychodynamic therapies. I also use a combination of traditional talk therapy, as well as cognitive behavioral therapy. A women's support group is also available.

Women's Issues Support Group
This support group consists of women who are experiencing difficult life situations such as divorce, rebellious teenagers, marital discontent and other life challenges. We work on personal deficits such as co-dependency, anger, trust, depression, fear and anxiety. We strive to find acceptance and hope as we share our stories.
