Hi there! I’m Deborah (She/Her/Hers), a neurodivergent licensed social worker in Ohio and a registered drama therapist! I am passionate about following passions in order to create a life that is meaningful and works for you. I strive to create a space where one can reconnect with or even discover their authentic self for the first time.
A unique piece to my therapeutic practice is my drama therapist lens. Drama therapy is the intentional use of drama and/or theatre processes to achieve therapeutic goals. Drama is active, experiential and an embodied experience. It allows for spontaneity, creativity and play. All humans need play at all ages and stages of development. Yes, even adults!
Most of my experience in the field has been with children-adults who have disabilities and/or are Autistic/ADHDr neurotypes. I want to build a better future with and for this population. You deserve to be heard, seen and validated. I consider it an honor to be a guide on your therapeutic journey.
