In 20 years of witnessing adults/children within the therapeutic relationship, I am in awe of the strength and resiliency individuals show in the face of truly traumatic events. Over the years, I have built a level of expertise in understanding the role that the transpersonal plays in the healing process. Being a Registered Play Therapist means that I have examined clinically how the story we tell ourselves about an event dictates both the burdens & the strengths we assign to our "self." Play. Seems childish, but life requires play: we imagine solutions, rehash disagreements, entertain the "if only(s)," play out social roles. Dress rehearsal for life, PLAY THERAPY uses miniatures symbolically to look at struggles. Also, to invite healing and discover a path forward, utilize HEART-CENTERED HYPNOTHERAPY as an additional tool for growth!
AIT utilizes muscle testing (wrist pressure) allowing subconscious content expression in healing trauma. Chakras are engaged to release the "emotional charge" (held in body) that is connected to the memory. This charge triggers behaviors that keep the traumatic cycle continuing as current life events unfold that feel similar to the originating trauma.
