Hello, Welcome! my name is Deborah Downey, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. When I look back on my life, I have been a support to my friends since I was in second grade. Classmates always came to me with their problems to help them resolve. My career is an educated continuation of that role. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with Gestalt techniques. I am client-focused.
I work mostly with adults, but will occasionally see adolescents. I also specialize in women's issues, anxiety, and depression.
I want to create a safe space for my clients to be able to express themselves freely. I strive to help my clients feel comfortable and encourage them to tell me if a subject creates too much anxiety for them.
