One of the hardest things to admit to ourselves is that we need help. Searching for a therapist is a brave first step. My background is in individual, couples, and group therapy. I am an independently licensed Clinical Social Worker with several years of experience helping clients who struggle with the aftermath of trauma (sexual, physical, emotional, and combat-related), mood disorders, anxiety, interpersonal challenges, psychosis, and end of life transitions.
My approach is person-centered, with an understanding of the impact of the messages we receive throughout our lifetime about who we are “supposed” to be and how we are “supposed” to feel. Learning how to help ourselves move forward with compassion rather than self-sabotage can be daunting. My role is to be by your side to help you see your way through.
I would be honored to be a part of your journey.
