I am a psychoanalytical psychotherapist. This means we work together from a holistic perspective, with the unconscious and your dreams and your personal life experience, including trauma. I work with clients who no longer want to be limited by their reactive patterns, cultural conditioning, insecure attachment styles and past traumas, helping them to embody new possibilities in life and love. Therapy provides a ritualized setting for a process that encourages the development of the client's intimate awareness of him/herself. We can remobilize the thwarted capacity to give and to receive love.
It was in deep connection that our oldest injuries were sustained, and so perhaps it is in deep connection that the roots of such wounds might be properly treated.
I specialize in psychodynamic and depth psychology with an emphasis on dream work.
