Deborah’s recent work has been at an inpatient rehabilitation facility for individuals struggling with dual diagnoses of substance use and mental health challenges. Her work included assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, individual and family counseling as well as group therapy and psycho-education for clients and staff. Deborah uses a client-centered strength-based approach to customize treatment plans that gently identify barriers, develop attainable goals, and teach coping skills that empower clients in strengthening their inner voice and resiliency.
In her off time, you will find Deborah hiking the trails of New England with her dog Charlie, family, and friends. She also enjoys horseback riding, skiing, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, reading, and watching a great classic black-and-white movie (with Charlie).
