I most enjoy working with people who are highly motivated to work on themselves, and who are psychologically-minded enough to look at themselves. I am best suited for people who wish to do deep character change work. (I tend to work long-term rather than short-term.) I do also offer supervision and consultation to younger clinicians who wish to deepen their experience and competence in working with eating disorders, trauma, and areas of personal growth.
I work with eating disorders, trauma, and other issues of self-regulation. I believe that recovery is physical, emotional & spiritual. I am particularly interested in helping people examine how early patterns in childhood have limited potential, and helping people to expand out of these limitations.
I have been in the field for 40 years, so have a lot of clinical experience. I believe that a healthy self is in each of us, and that that healthy self can grow and flourish at any age.
