As a Neurodivergent Therapist, I specialize in Neurodivergent Educators, and other Neurodivergent Folx! Are you overwhelmed by anxiety and stress? Struggling with adjustment, dealing w/past trauma, drowning in depression? A retired teacher and former school-based therapist, I have the expertise to support you in your journey toward positive change, so you can feel in control, empowered, and at peace. I combine CBT with mindfulness, and positive psychology to help clients to understand their feelings, impulses, thoughts, and needs. I am a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, working with ASD adults. Also trained as a Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist; I incorporate knowledge of how nutrition affects mental health.
Using relationships, mindfulness, and positive psychology, we integrate the different parts of our brain for healing and safety. Once we bring issues into consciousness, then we can bring it together, then we can heal. When we're able to access the implicit stuff and make it explicit, then we can change your story I "hold the space" and provide support!
