Welcome! I am a Marriage and Family Therapy resident who enjoys working with clients seeking personal growth within themselves and their relationships. I’ve always aspired to help individuals and families resolve their conflicts, and becoming a therapist felt like a natural calling. I’ve worked with diverse groups of people in various settings such as schools, work, and within the community. I also bring a multicultural perspective from my African upbringing, and love working with members of multicultural communities. I also have experience working with clients both in private practice and community mental health settings.
I enjoy working with couples, individuals and children. I have specialized training in managing anxiety, depression, parenting struggles, ADHD-related issues and trauma. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy modalities.
I am a Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I am supervised by Christine Bowers. It's an honor to be part of your therapy journey.
