Looking into therapy is a positive first step. As a licensed psychotherapist, my passion is to help you navigate through life's difficulties and to empower you to regain health and balance in your life. I specialize in helping individuals and couples regain and maintain mental, emotional and relational health by overcoming emotional and relational challenges. I believe healing past wounding is critical in learning how to discard protective defense mechanisms and regain the courage to risk vulnerability to secure safe attachments.
Outside of office hours, I am Adjunct Faculty for National University in the Master's of Counseling Psychology program. I am a CAMFT-Approved Clinical Supervisor. Additionally, I volunteer in Trauma Recovery Network providing EMDR on disaster-response basis, as well as for Mama's Kitchen.
