Debbie Sayre
Marriage & Family Therapist, MFT
Therapy does not have to be painful. I will help you find out what is stopping you from living up to your full potential and preventing you from living a more productive and fulfilling life. I have energy, a down to earth style, and a good sense of humor. My clients have said that they feel safe and comfortable talking to me because I am real and non-judgmental. "Feelings are like waves. You cannot stop them from coming, but you can decide which ones to surf."
Mental health and physical health are connected. It is important to find ways in which to relax, unwind, and practice mindfulness. Some techniques for taking care ourselves include yoga, expressing gratitude, positive affirmations, meditation, visualization, understanding and expressing our emotions effectively, silence and focusing inward, and deep breathing.
Additionally, I have experience working with gay, lesbian, and bisexual individuals. I also have experience working with people who have poly-amorous relationships.
