About
Do you wonder how you can take control of your own emotions and reactions? Let me help you achieve emotional balance in your life. I have counseling experience working with clients struggling with divorce, communication problems, depression, grief, parenting issues, and anxiety. I enjoy working with children, teens, adults, and families. I also enjoy working with clients with eating disorders and adolescents that self-harm. I'm a therapist at Hope & Harmony Therapy, where I facilitate individual, family & couples counseling; as well as counseling groups.
I believe that clients have the ability to choose how to resolve their own problems and can make their own decisions with my assistance as a facilitator. I believe that individuals are responsible for their own behaviors, thoughts, and feelings, but occasionally need help processing it all.
I hope to facilitate for my clients greater self-awareness through their life experiences that lead to increased confidence, self-esteem, independence, mental health, and the capacity to effectively navigate the complex challenges of life. As a former educator, I am able to help families communicate needs with school personnel.
