While we specialize in treating adolescent girls and women at Empower Counseling, we welcome all clients. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families who are looking for a supportive and goal directed therapist with a collaborative approach to change. My goal is to help my clients become a more confident and empowered version of themselves, build on their strengths and work through the challenges and conflicts that are an inevitable part of life.
As rates of anxiety and depression in our society continue to increase, my work focuses on helping clients understand and cope with the symptoms of these disorders. I utilize cognitive behavioral techniques, positive psychology, solution focused techniques and mindfulness based stress reduction to help clients heal and reach their full potential.

Empower Counseling, PC is an intimate counseling practice that addresses the vast and specific needs of women and adolescent girls. Our goal is to provide a safe, sacred and honest place for any woman to understand and release the shame, confusion and hurt that often exists inside of them, thus allowing them the courage to be strong, competent women. Empower Counseling, PC specializes in the needs of women and girls; however we also have extensive experience in treating all populations; men, boys, families, and couples. All are welcome.
