About
Covid-19 is having such an impact on so many people in so many ways. I just want to be available for any of you in this time of need. We all need to have contact with one another as it is our basic human need. As a result of this current crisis, most everyone could benefit from talking with a professional whom is trained to deal with these problems. I am trained as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist with an emphasis on Stress, Anxiety, PTSD, Grief and Loss. While I have plenty of training in these mental health problems, I am mostly a human helping humans.
The type of treatment that I provide for my client's is Cognitive/Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT demonstrates how our thoughts and emotions directly impact our behaviors and is especially useful when working with anxiety, depression and a variety of other mental health problems.
With additional training in clinical pastoral counseling, I account for the incorporation of spirituality into the counseling process if needed. Scientific research in the field of psychology demonstrates how closely one's mind is to one's body, but also how one's spirituality comes into affect the process as well.
