We all hit bumps in the road that we feel unequipped to handle. If you are reading this, you are probably experiencing one of those now. I work with my clients to help them to navigate thorough life's challenges. I do not have a handy manual to offer simplistic answers for your life. What I do offer is to listen to you without judgment, to help you identify the obstacles that keep you from moving forward, to help you find internal resources, and to work with you to help you discover the answers that work for you. I can teach you to be more compassionate with yourself since being human is to struggle.
I have extensive experience working with at risk youth and enjoy the humor, energy and honesty of working with teens. Many of my adult clients come to struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma or loss and are unaware of just how long term the impact is on their lives. I teach skills to help you navigate life more effectively.
I work with couples to develop skills to turn conflict into growth as they navigate the stages and changes in married life. I work with blended families to help them meet the challenges of building a new family as their worlds collide. I am also a cancer survivor and have walked that path that you can only understand if you have been there.
