With authenticity and over 12 years of experience, I work with children, teens and adults to develop their sense of selves, decrease anxiety & stress, and establish rewarding relationships. Relationships are challenging - even in the best circumstances. This is certainly true when building or maintaining a relationship with someone who feels stressed, sad, or acting out in anger. Many people today feel overwhelmed, alone, judged or misunderstood. There is hope, though, in that you can be the solution! Having this space has helped many people better understand and manage their lives. Also proficient in complex psychological testing.

Your therapy experience with me will always be tailored individually to you and your strengths. I train at UCLA and across CA and provide therapy using advanced scientific support for decreasing depression and anxiety, improving emotional control and coping skills, and enhancing relationships. Fully trained/certified in CBT, DBT, EMDR, IFS, TF-CBT and CPP.

I received my Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School and completed postdoctoral training at UCLA. My specialty is in supporting recovery from trauma and ongoing stress. Our research-based skills groups are held in a friendly atmosphere where you can openly discuss experiences. Led by Dr. Mitchum, this group is based in evidence-based practices and aimed at supporting healing within a non-judgemental community for those who have survived or are currently experiencing trauma or stress. You will learn to improve emotion regulation, decrease self-judgement and repair relationships in the wake of past trauma. Group currently meets Monday evenings via tele-health.
