I work from an integrative approach, drawing primarily from a psychodynamic orientation. A significant piece of my therapeutic style is developing effective coping skills with the belief that everyone does the best they can with the resources they have. This is individual, very personal work and is different for everyone.
I have over twenty years experience and extensive training working in the mental health field with a general population treating a wide range of issues. I have a special interest in working with seniors, partly because of my specialized training and partly because of my relationship with my beloved grandmother.
