About
As life progresses, there may be events/situations that may lead to imbalance which can be uncomfortable and distressing, as well as attribute to mental health issues. The combination may minimize or compromise our inner strengths. I aim to collaborate and support in maximizing your inner strengths to better manage, work through, and cope with life transitions and difficulties. I work towards empowering you to take control of your life through self-awareness, insight, and techniques specific to obtain your goals. My approach with each client is uniquely tailored to take into consideration of any diversity and/or culture differences.
I have special interests in fostering self-growth in adolescents/teens and young adults, strengthening interpersonal relatedness, exploring issues associated with family dynamics, and working with families and/or individuals in discovering attainable solutions. I also enjoy and have experience working with couples focusing on, but not limited to, communication.
I offer evidence-based treatments for mental health issues such as, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, behavior modification, addiction, adjustment/life transitions, bereavement, and parenting. I welcome and have experience working with graduate students attaining therapy hours, as well as college students seeking services and may be financially compromised.
