If you're dealing with relationship struggles, wanting to change old patterns, or working through trauma (personal, physical, emotional, systemic, intergenerational, historical), I am here to support you in accessing your resources and strengths to connect you to your resilience. You hold the wisdom and strength you need to move through life, but sometimes it’s hard to tease apart the metaphorical tangled pile of yarn that internally exists...on your own. I believe in the complexity of the individual as a guiding source of their wholeness, which includes all aspects of identity, culture, and intersectionality.
As a somatic therapist, I work intentionally to integrate sensation, feeling, emotion, and movement into the verbal story - an integration of mind and body. I work from an anti-oppression lens in support of understanding one's internal story and the ways it is impacted by relational, cultural, and societal experiences.
As a white, cis-woman of Jewish descent, I work in collaboration with you to support your development and growth in relationship to yourself, others, and your environment by offering culturally relevant, trauma-informed counseling for individuals, relationships, and groups. Supervision Group (September 10 - October 29)
This clinical supervision group is for Master's level therapists and/or licensed therapists looking to improve their level of cultural competency by specifically focusing on working with systems of power, privilege, and oppression within the therapeutic relationship. All hours of participation may be counted towards requirements for supervision hours towards the licensed professional counselor credential. *Please note: Unlicensed participants who wish to use group supervision hours for licensure are required to have an individual clinical supervisor who is responsible for their caseload.
