Announcement icon Wise Woman Therapy is exclusively Teletherapy for residents of Illinois and Washington state.
Do you feel completely overwhelmed right now but you have been really good at hiding it? You seem high-functioning and successful but deep down you worry that you're about to lose it? Having sleep problems, upsetting thoughts and feeling exhausted all the time? You may notice yourself trying to self-medicate in various ways but that isn't working anymore. A major crisis may or may not have happened yet but you are seriously worried. You might be having some relationship issues or just trying to distract by taking care of everyone else.
You can share things in therapy that can't be shared with your usual supports. I will help you identify where unhealthy coping came from, reduce the shame and get on with life. I am a compassionate listener and an active collaborator so you can form better strategies and practice and reinforce healthier ways to cope. You can heal the old wounds and move on.
I care so much because my life was saved by support that included a therapist and circles of strangers that oddly seemed to be experiencing what I was when I thought I was alone in all of it. Living a life of recovery from everything is a lot of work but it's well worth it. Go to my website and sign up for a free phone consult. I'd love to hear from you.

The Power of the Circle

This is a process group. Women check in about how they are feeling and what they are working on. Group members share how they relate and provide feedback and support for one another. Some in-session exercises may be suggested by therapist. This group is good for women looking for a sense of connection as they address current issues and their process of trying to make life better.
