Often the people who find me first are the families of my actual clients. They are seeking care for a loved one who is either developing symptoms or has been diagnosed with Psychosis. Most often families and friends don't really know what's happening, they just know that something has drastically changed. But finding treatment for Psychosis, outside of calling the 911 or going to an emergency department, is often very challenging. The good news is there is hope! Treatment for Psychosis has come a long way in the past years. The earlier a person starts treatment, then the better the outcomes are!
I have spent my entire career working in both the research and clinical sectors of treatment for Psychotic disorders. I developed a passion for it in graduate school and was lucky to get my first job after graduation working directly in the field of Psychosis. I did that work for 20 years and loved every minute of it!
If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Psychosis (or a primary Psychotic disorder, like Schizophrenia), please reach out.
