Many of us move through life doing our best to meet expectations, care for others, and survive transitions, yet still find ourselves feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who we are. You may be navigating stress from relationships, identity, family expectations, or the challenges of being between cultures. You are not alone.
In our work together, I hope to offer you a space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and gently explore what you truly need. I see therapy as a collaborative process, where your lived experience, strengths, and wisdom guide the direction of our work.

Grounded and raised in a Chinese immigrant and Vietnamese refugee family, my roots and experiences have amplified my passion to address care in communities of color. The complexities of juggling responsibilities as a student, employee, caregiver. etc., can be exhausting and I'm here to say that I see you! You are more than just a person embedded in an institution, and your emotionality is cared for.

You may feel caught between cultures, grieving parts of yourself you had to hide, or struggling to feel truly understood. Maybe you're navigating burnout, ADHD, or the weight of always needing to explain. I work with immigrants, third culture kids, queer and trans people, and those carrying grief or chronic overwhelm. In this space, you don’t have to hold it all together. We’ll slow down, explore the stories that shaped you, and build new ways of being that feel more grounded, connected, and true.

I was born in South Korea and moved to the U.S. as a teenager—a transition that deeply shaped how I understand identity, belonging, and the ways culture shapes our inner lives.
Growing up between cultures taught me how complex it can be to find language for what we feel—especially when those feelings don’t fit neatly into categories. That’s part of why I approach therapy not just as treatment, but as an ongoing conversation: about where someone’s been, who they are, and how they want to move forward.

I believe the greatest gift a therapist can offer is full presence with a compassionate ear. Many clients seek therapy because something that was working for them is no longer working. Maybe you feel stuck, unseen, unheard, anxious, or angry in your interpersonal relationships and work. Maybe there's grief from family estrangement, or you are contemplating cutoff. Maybe your core values are being tested. Please give yourself permission to be here as you are. What we acknowledge and admit to another becomes more real, and you matter. In our therapy space, even if you take your shoes off at the door, you can bring your whole self.

I work with adults who are carrying more than they can safely hold on their own, often while navigating systems and expectations that leave little room for rest or vulnerability. Many face depression, anxiety, trauma, postpartum challenges, insomnia, or coping habits formed under pressure.
Others are moving through racial or immigrant identity or major life transitions without the support they deserve. I try to facilitate a space where you can exhale, be heard, and explore your needs without judgment. Together, we make room for what has been ignored and name what you have carried alone.
