Welcome to Alight Counseling. Finding a counselor that is a good fit can be a challenge. Maybe you have tried talk therapy and/or medication, and it has not worked or is not an option for you. We effectively treat clients using both talk therapy and neurofeedback that addresses issues at the source. Neurofeedback is a cutting-edge non-invasive technology designed to train the brain using the brain’s natural reward system.
We will begin with an intake session to determine what type of counseling would best support your needs. Our training has focused on integrating attachment-based, trauma informed modalities to support children, women, men, and families. We will explain how neurofeedback training might benefit you.
We have seen amazing success working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, sleep, academic struggles, social issues, anger and many more using talk therapy, neurofeedback or both.
