Healing begins when we talk about the pain - I believe one of the largest obstacles to feeling better is asking for help. I also believe that each of us is resilient and has an inner strength that enables us to soldier on while we work through our pain. My goal as your therapist will be to support you and give you the tools you need, while guiding you through the process of healing and resolution so that you may find inner peace and renewed energy.
I specialize in the treatment of adolescent girls and adult women, many of whom have experienced sexual trauma, emotional abuse, and physical assault. I draw on 20 years of clinical experience to help those struggling with multi-layered trauma and it’s related depression, anxiety, anger, and impulse control.
My treatment is simultaneously supportive and solution-focused, and I use cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based approaches to that end. I offer daily and evening appointments and am generally available to meet with you within a few days of your call. Please reach out to me by email or phone.
